Professor Salim Bouzebda completed his academic pursuits at the University Pierre and Marie Curie, Paris, France, culminating in the attainment of a Doctor of Philosophy degree in 2007. His scholarly endeavors encompass a diverse range of topics, including but not limited to censored data, functional data analysis, multivariate analysis, extreme value theory, bootstrap methods, and the application of artificial intelligence algorithms for the analysis of massive datasets. His scholarly output is reflected in the publication of over 130 peer-reviewed research articles in esteemed international journals, showcasing his significant contributions to various domains within mathematical and applied statistics.

Furthermore, Professor Bouzebda has served or is currently serving as an Associate Editor for reputable journals such as Dependence Modeling, The Open Mathematics, Statistics and Probability Journal, and Applied Mathematics: Deterministic and Stochastic. Presently, he holds the position of Full Professor of Mathematical Statistics and assumes the role of Head of the Research Laboratory in Applied Mathematics at the University of Technology of Compiegne, France.
